FANTASTIC COUPLE ROLE AVAILABLE FOR FAMILY PART TIME RESIDENCE IN NORFOLK
This is a long term position for a couple working at appreciative family’s part time country residence in Norfolk. The stunning property is set in 50 acres of land, 2 part time gardeners are employed and outside farm staff so these duties are not required of the couple! We are looking for a strong and professional couple team that are able to look after the inside and outside of the property ensuring it is warm and welcoming for when the family are in residence.
You must be child friendly as there are 3 beautiful children aged from 7 to 13 years old. Babysitting duties may very occasionally be required but this is not a regular request. You may be required to run errands and occasionally driving the family so one of you must be a confident driver.
Cooking healthy and wholesome meals from scratch for the family using organic food supplies is an important part of the role so one of you must have a true passion for cooking and be able to cater for the family for all meals when in residence and their occasional guests. Setting the table, serving refreshments if required.
You will do the Housekeeping of the property to a high standard, looking after laundry and ironing when the family are there. You must be dog friendly as the family bring with them a border terrier. You are welcome to bring a dog/cat as long as they are friendly with the family dog and the children.
General maintenance in and around the home including basic handyman duties, setting of alarms, security etc.
Looking after the household accounts, keeping a tally of all receipts and expenditures.
This is an 8 bedroom property over two storeys plus an attic that is not used.
Your accommodation is in the main house and consists of a self-contained 3 bedroom apartment which can be fully or part furnished or unfurnished according to your preferences.
This role can start ASAP but will wait for the right long term couple.
The family are in residence on weekends so you will work 5 days including weekends and take 2 days off in the week. However when the family are travelling which are most school holidays you can then work Monday to Friday and have the weekends off.
You must be self-starters, motivated and able to plan your own days efficiently and effectively.
£800 net per week
