Young Professionals in the Arts (YPA) is a networking group set-up to connect creative and visual arts professionals. Aimed at people who work for galleries, museums, writers and other visual art professionals, YPA attendees are given the opportunity to meet, exchange ideas and forge relationships with other like-minded colleagues.
YPA now has more than 700 members, it is free to join and now has no age limit.

Ducciozambrini (DZ) events came about in 2011 when founder, Duccio Zambrini invited a group of friends to meet, mingle and chat – they all liked it so much that he organised a follow-up meeting which had more than 150 people in attendance. It continued to grow in popularity so Duccio turned it into a business. Today he runs between 1-2 events per week – meeting at London club venues.

Stylist magazineholds networking events run by industry professionals – the first, linked to one of Stylists cover stories ‘The rise of the cupcake entrepreneurs’ proved such a success that they have continued running regular events. Some of the more recent groups have included: ‘How to Start your own Business’, ‘How to get published’ and ‘Entrepreneurs share their secrets’.

Whine & Dine HR is a leading New York regional Human Resource group; there are thousands of active members in Whine and Dine. The group is an ideal opportunity to meet fellow professionals, as well as hiring managers in related industries. New York Business Network Meetup a private group for professionals in the area, the New York Business Leader group provides an opportunity for executive networking. You can meet fellow

Executive Assistants Organization (EAO) was launched with a desire to change the world of administrative professionals for the better. Every member is a mentor, sharing knowledge and building camaraderie. Net Party helps young professionals accelerate their career path, the events can help build a network of allies in local firms. Dedicated to people seeking to make connections in the area, the group holds fundraisers and social gatherings on a regular basis.
Described as an ‘extended cocktail hour’ the events take on more of a social atmosphere with great music and conversation.

Network After Work is America’s premier face-to-face business networking company with monthly mixer events in over 40 cities. Fort Lauderdale

The Triton Expo, an event open to yacht crew, helps industry professionals to develop the contacts to excel in their boating careers. The Exhibition is an opportunity for captains and crew to meet face-to-face with top providers of goods and services yacht crew require.
There are two free seminars and a resume clinic which offers an honest critique from captains and placement agents.

Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show is from October 30th – November 3rd 2014.
Fort Lauderdale, known as ‘the yachting capital of the world’ hosts the 55th International Boat Show. The show not only offers industry professionals the chance to network with captains but exhibits over 3 million square feet of boats and sea vessels. There are also a number of boating seminars and workshops free to attend.
